SENTRI Pass is a border crossing card to expedite travel across the US Mexican Border. All applicants must apply for an individual card including child and infant applicants.

Frequent travelers by air, land or sea who across the US Canadian border often you should download the NEXUS application form.

The SENTRI pass or Secure Electronic Network for Travelers Rapid Inspection pass allows low risk frequent travelers to cross the US Mexican border swiftly and easily. This trusted traveler program is the one and only way to ensure that you avoid hours waiting in line at border control posts and scrutiny from border guards along the US Mexican border. Crossing the US Mexican border without a pass can be a tiresome business; the pass can be used as a passport alternative for crossing the US Mexican land border in a vehicle or on foot as well as sea ports of entry. The pass cannot be used for air travel.

SENTRI Eligilbility

SENTRI pass is valid for 5 years and is available to eligible Mexican citizens, US citizens and Lawful permanent residents. You must have the following:

	US citizens must have valid US citizenship and identity documents that prove their US nationality (e.g. a valid US passport)
	Permanent Resident holders must have a machine readable green card and a valid passport form their home country
	Mexican citizens must have a valid US visa and Mexican passport
	All applicants must have a contact address in the United States

SENTRI card is given to low risk travelers whose personal data has been subject to numerous checks by both US and Mexican border officials and law enforcement agencies. If you are a permanent resident or citizen of the US or Mexico you can apply for a SENTRI pass.  

You will be denied access to the SENTRI pass program if any of the following apply to you:

	Your application form contains incomplete or false information
	If you have a criminal record or outstanding charges no matter how long ago your conviction occurred
	If you are subject to a law enforcement investigation
	If you have any convictions with the US or Mexican military
	If you have any immigration violations or you are considered inadmissible to the US (US waivers are not taken into consideration for
	this program)
	If you have violated customs and border regulations

If your case was dismissed you must provide certified court records to be considered for the SENTRI card program.

Applying for a SENTRI Pass

Applying for a SENTRI Pass has never been easier. Complicated government forms and online registration need no longer stop you from applying for your pass. In order to qualify you must attend a 30 minute interview with US border officials at a designated SENTRI enrollment center. IPVS send you an email with instructions on how to schedule your appointment or you can email us back with preferred dates and times and we schedule the interview for you. You have 180 days to do this.  If you fail to book an appointment in this time you will be denied access to the SENTRI pass program and will have to pay new enrollment fees should you decide to reapply for the program again.

 The Benefits of SENTRI Pass

There are many benefits associated with being a SENTRI pass holder. Over 175,000 US citizens and Mexican citizens have become card holders. Approved members are all low risk travelers. If you are approved for the program you will be given a vehicle window sticker and a SENTRI card, which is a Radio Frequency Identification Card (RFID). The SENTRI card transmits a signal to the US Mexican border officials telling them who you are and that you are a low risk traveler. On reaching the US Mexican border you join the SENTRI lane, which guarantees you expedited travel.

Immigration Passport Visa Service does not guarantee approval for any Trusted Traveler program. Inaccurate or incomplete SENTRI pass application forms are automatically denied access to the SENTRI cards program.

All IPVS service fees must be paid via PayPal – your application cannot be processed unless you have made a PayPal transaction. Government fees will be paid using the credit card included on your application form. All fees are non-refundable.
